Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of SellOracle (the "Service") — a developer API and MCP server providing pre-computed Etsy market data and AI tools. By creating a key or calling the API, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

SellOracle exposes aggregated, derived signals computed from Etsy's public Open API (e.g. Blue Ocean scores, demand, and competition metrics), plus optional live lookups and AI-generated outputs, over REST and MCP.

2. Accounts & API keys

You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential and for all activity under your key. Don't share keys publicly. One account per individual or organization unless agreed otherwise.

3. Acceptable use

• Respect the rate limits and credit allowances of your plan.
• Don't attempt to overload, probe, or circumvent the Service or its limits.
• Don't scrape, bulk-export, or resell our datasets wholesale as a competing data product.
• Don't use the Service for unlawful purposes.

4. Data & third parties

SellOracle is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Etsy, Inc. "Etsy" is a trademark of its owner; we reference it only to describe what our data is about. We expose derived/aggregated signals, not a resale of raw Etsy API records. You are responsible for your own compliance with any marketplace's terms when acting on our data.

5. Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly through Creem (merchant of record) and include a monthly credit allowance; usage beyond it is billed at the published overage rate. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime — see our Refund Policy.

6. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is." It is an early-stage product with no formal SLA on the Free and Starter tiers. Market data is computed from public sources and may contain inaccuracies or be out of date — verify before relying on it for important decisions. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SellOracle is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for business decisions made based on the data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior three months.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or abuse of the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
