Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 8, 2026
SellOracle ("we", "us") provides a developer API and MCP server that returns pre-computed, aggregated Etsy marketplace data. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the service.
What we collect
- Account email — to create your account and issue your API key.
- API usage — the endpoints/tools you call, timestamps, and call counts, used for rate limiting, credit metering, and abuse prevention.
- Your API key — a stateless token derived from your account id; we do not store a separate secret.
- We do not collect or store your payment card details — payments are handled by our payment processor (see below).
Cookies & tracking
The marketing site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We may use strictly necessary storage to operate the dashboard.
How we use it
To provide and secure the service, enforce plan limits and credits, process billing, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal data.
Sharing
Billing is processed by Creem (our merchant of record), which handles payments and applicable taxes under its own privacy policy. We use Cloudflare to host and serve the application. We disclose data only as needed to run the service or where required by law.
The data we serve
The market data SellOracle returns consists of aggregated, derived signals computed from Etsy's public Open API (e.g. score, demand, and competition metrics). It is not the personal data of any individual buyer, and it is not a resale of raw Etsy records.
Retention
We retain account and usage data while your account is active. Email us to access or delete your data.
